Terms of Service

By using Humm, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use our app.

1. Eligibility

  • You must be 18 years or older to use Humm
  • You must be legally able to enter into a binding agreement
  • You cannot use Humm if you've been previously banned

2. Your Account

  • Create an account using Apple Sign-In or Google Sign-In
  • Provide accurate information
  • Keep your account secure and don't share it
  • You're responsible for all activity on your account

3. User Conduct

You agree to:

  • Be respectful to other users
  • Use recent, accurate photos of yourself
  • Not harass, threaten, or harm others

You agree NOT to:

  • Create fake profiles or impersonate others
  • Post inappropriate, explicit, or offensive content
  • Spam, scam, or solicit money from other users
  • Use automated bots or scripts
  • Violate any laws

We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these terms.

4. Humm Premium

  • Free Trial: New users get 5 days free access to Humm Premium features
  • Subscription: Humm Premium is a monthly auto-renewing subscription
  • Billing: Payments are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store
  • Cancellation: Cancel anytime through your device's subscription settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your billing period
  • Refunds: Refund requests are handled by Apple or Google per their policies

5. Content

  • You own your content (photos, messages, etc.)
  • By posting content, you grant us permission to use it to operate the Service
  • Don't post content that violates others' rights
  • We use AI to mask photos and generate conversation summaries

6. Safety

  • Use the Report feature to report inappropriate behavior
  • Use the Block feature to prevent contact from other users
  • We don't conduct criminal background checks on users
  • Always exercise caution when meeting people online
  • Meet in public places and tell someone your plans

7. Privacy

Your privacy matters. See our Privacy Policy for details on how we collect, use, and protect your data.

8. Disclaimers

  • Humm is provided "as is" without warranties
  • We don't guarantee you'll find a match
  • We're not responsible for other users' behavior
  • We're not responsible for the outcome of any meetings

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Humm is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

10. Account Termination

  • You can delete your account anytime in Settings
  • We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms
  • Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends

Account Deletion Process

You may terminate your account at any time by requesting deletion through the app's Settings. Deletion requests are processed after a 7-day grace period. We reserve the right to ban or suspend accounts that violate our terms.

Subscriptions on Deletion

Requesting account deletion does not cancel active subscriptions. You are responsible for cancelling your subscription through your app store to avoid future charges.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms. Continued use after changes means you accept the new Terms.
