Getting Started

How do I sign up?

Download Humm, tap "Get Started", and sign in with Apple (iOS) or Google.

Why do I need to be 18+?

Humm is for adults only. Your date of birth is verified during sign-up.

Profile & Photos

Why are photos masked?

We mask photos to protect privacy. You can reveal your original photos through Face Reveal with matches.

My photo was rejected. Why?

Photos must show your face clearly, have only one person, and match your verification selfie.

How do I edit my profile?

Go to the Profile tab and tap any section to edit.

Matching

What are Green Flags?

Green Flags let you show interest. If both users send Green Flags, it's a match!

What are Chat Requests?

Send a chat request with an opening line. If accepted, you can start chatting.

I can't send Green Flags. Why?

Green Flags require Humm Premium (or the 5-day free trial).

How much does it cost?

Humm Premium is a monthly subscription. Price is shown in the app.

How do I cancel?

  • iOS: Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → Humm
  • Android: Play Store → Subscriptions → Humm

My Premium isn't working

Go to Settings → Restore Purchases. If still not working, restart the app or contact support.

Safety

How do I report someone?

Tap the menu (...) on their profile and select "Report".

How do I block someone?

Open a chat with the user, tap the more options menu (...), and select "Block User". This permanently removes all conversations and prevents further contact.

Account

How do I delete my account?

Go to Settings → Delete Account. Select a reason and confirm. Your account will be scheduled for deletion after 7 days. You can cancel anytime during this period by logging back in.

What happens to my data when I delete my account?

All your personal data including profile, photos, messages, chat sessions, and matches are permanently deleted. We keep a minimal record for fraud prevention.

Will my subscription be cancelled?

No. You must cancel your subscription separately through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. We'll remind you during the deletion process.

Can I recover my account after deletion?

During the 7-day grace period, yes — just log back in and cancel the deletion. After the 7 days, deletion is permanent and cannot be reversed.

I can't log in

Make sure you're using the same sign-in method (Apple/Google) you used to create your account.

Troubleshooting

App crashes or won't load

  1. Update to the latest version
  2. Restart your phone
  3. Reinstall the app

Not receiving notifications

Check that notifications are enabled in your device settings and in the app.
